Prerequisites
OpenSpace can provide an Offline Deliverable for a project that is ready to be closed or is already closed.
A Site Admin or higher must request the Offline Deliverable and complete the download.
Overview
An Offline Deliverable is a file of an OpenSpace project that you can store locally on your server. They can be used for closeout documentation or packages—the project data is viewable by anyone with access to the files. Offline deliverables include your 360° video walk captures, 360° photos, and Field Notes associated with 360° video walks.
How to request an Offline Deliverable
Site Admins or higher can request Offline Deliverables. The project must be closed or ready to close.
Note: If the project is not closed, Support will close the project at the time of an Offline Deliverable request.
You can request one Offline Deliverable per project.
To submit your request:
Send an email to support@openspace.ai with a link to the closed project for which you want the Offline Deliverable.
OpenSpace will email you a confirmation of your request.
When the Offline Deliverable is complete, Support will email you a link to your Offline Deliverable. Note that this process can take up to 48 hours, depending on the size of the project.
How to download and view your Offline Deliverable
Depending on the size of the Offline Deliverable the link you receive via email will show one of these options:
If your deliverable is a single, less than 50 GB file you’ll see a Click Here link.
If your deliverable is larger than 50 GB, you’ll receive links to multiple files that are approximately 50 GB each and sorted by date range.
Downloading your file(s)
Click the singular link or one from the desired date range to begin the download of the zip file. Note: Download times will vary depending on the size of the file, your internet speed, and your device's download capability.
Once the download is complete, right-click and select Extract All.
After you select Extract All you’ll be prompted to choose a destination. After you make your selection click Extract.
Once the file is extracted, lick into the extracted folder.
Open the Chrome index.html icon.
Note: You won't access the other folders in the Offline Deliverable—their raw data is not useful on its own.
The Offline Deliverable search parameters are now available.
Select the sheet name > Desired year (if applicable) > Month > Date.
Click Open.
You can now view the 360 video and/or 360 photos
Note: Since this is an offline view, you won’t see the same playback options as you do in the OpenSpace website.
