Creating an Issue

Navigate to your project and click on the Field Notes icon in the left menu:

Select a Field note from your list.

Select the "Link to BIM 360" link.

Create a new Issue or link to existing Issue

A prompt will then appear giving you the option of creating a new Issue or linking to an existing Issue, which will attach the Field Note photo and a PDF with the exact floor plan location.

When creating a new Issue, the information you enter on the form in OpenSpace will populate that information in BIM 360. Fields shown in orange are required.

Once you complete the form, you will see the field note is linked to a BIM 360 Issue, and the status in OpenSpace shows the Issue status in BIM 360:

By using OpenSpace to generate Issues, rich visual context and the location on the floor plans are included automatically as attachments.
