Profile Settings

Overview

Your Profile Settings allow you to update personal information and customize how you receive notifications from OpenSpace. Turn on email notifications to receive updates when captures are processed, data is published, and other relevant account or project activity occurs. 

Change email notifications

• Go to the OpenSpace website and log in. 
• In the bottom left-side panel, click the dropdown arrow next to your name. 

• Select View profile.

•    Change the email settings by toggling the radio buttons. 

Update personal information

The information displayed here is initially populated from the Terms & Conditions page you completed when accepting your OpenSpace invitation. Most fields can be edited and updated at any time to keep your profile information current.

• In this same screen, edit your individual user information and click Save.

FAQ

Who receives email notifications?
The notifications a user receives depend on their member permission level within the project.

Can email notifications be disabled for a specific project?
No. Notification preferences are managed at the user level and cannot be configured for individual projects.

Can I disable email notifications for my entire account?
Users can manage individual notification preferences within their Profile Settings. Notification settings cannot be configured separately for specific projects.

Why am I not receiving capture notifications as an Organization Admin?
To help reduce inbox clutter, Organization Admins do not receive capture notifications by default because they may have access to a large number of projects. If you would like to receive capture notifications as an Organization Admin, contact OpenSpace Support at support@openspace.ai.

What email notifications do Site Admins receive?
Site Admins receive all available project email notifications.

What email notifications do editors receive?
Editors receive all available project email notifications.

What email notifications do viewers receive?
Viewers do not receive capture-related email notifications by default. However, viewers who are members of a shared folder will receive notifications when new captures are added to that shared folder.
