Overview
Split View in OpenSpace allows you to view two captures side by side on the same sheet from different days, as long as both captures contain data from the same points on the floor plan. This feature works best when capture walks follow the same or similar paths, making it easier to compare progress and changes over time.
How to use Split View
- Click into a project capture.
- Select Split View button.
- Once you’re in Split View, you can navigate between different capture dates by clicking on the date button. In the calendar that pops up:
- A date marked in dark blue means there is data on that date at your current point of view.
- A date marked in light blue means there is data on that date on the same sheet.
- A date marked in gray means there is data on that date on other sheets.
- Select a dark blue calendar date to compare capture data between the 2 days at the same point on the sheet.
Click the lock icon in the center of the page to lock both images in place. This allows you to navigate the images simultaneously in a singular pano view.
- Click other dates to view more comparisons. To close Split View, use X.
