Troubleshooting Procore Two-Way Sync

Overview

If you are encountering issues with setting up or using the Procore Two-Way Sync integration, this article includes tips for troubleshooting.

OpenSpace permissions 

Procore permissions

• Company Admin: You must have Admin level permissions on the Company level Directory tool to install the OpenSpace Two-Way Sync app from the Procore Marketplace and configure projects in Procore.
• Standard or Admin: You must have Standard or Admin permissions in Procore to configure Company Webhooks.

Prerequisites 

• Sign in with Procore (SSO)
• Enable Procore Integration on Project

Troubleshooting Two-Way Sync app

• Ensure you have the OpenSpace Two-Way Sync app installed from the Procore App Marketplace, and that your Procore project is listed under the permitted projects for the app (instructions here).
• Ensure the Sync project toggle on the Integrations tab of Settings is enabled.

• If the Sync project toggle is enabled and the integration is not functioning properly, try deselecting and reselecting the Sync project toggle.
• If you are receiving an error syncing your project with Procore, or if the Two-Way Sync integration is still not functioning properly, try the following troubleshooting steps:

• Ensure the desired project is listed under Permitted Projects in Procore:
  • Go to App Management.

• Select View on OpenSpace Two-Way Sync.

• Select Permissions.

• Under Permitted Projects, check to see if the desired Procore project is listed. 

• If it is not, select the desired project(s) then select Add.

• Check if an update is available for the OpenSpace Two-Way Sync app.
  • Go to App Management.

• Check if there is an Update Available badge under OpenSpace Two-Way Sync. If present, select View.

• Select Update Available.

• Select Update.

• Please note: Updating the app will break all previous project configurations. To reconfigure, select Permissions.

• Under Permitted Projects, select the desired project(s), then select Add.
