Enable Procore Integration

Overview

Our Procore integration streamlines your workflow by enabling you to create and manage Procore Punch Items and Observations directly from the OpenSpace app. Once enabled, the integration maintains a bidirectional sync so that any edits made to a Punch Item or Observation in either platform automatically sync to the other, ensuring seamless coordination between platforms.

Company Admin: You must have Admin level permissions on the Company level Directory tool to install the OpenSpace Two-Way Sync App from the Procore Marketplace.

Prerequisites 

The setup wizard will guide you through all required steps to enable the Procore integration. To streamline the process, you can complete the following in advance:

• Sign in to OpenSpace using Procore SSO. This is required and will also be prompted during setup.
• Install the OpenSpace apps from the Procore App Marketplace. This is required and covered in the steps below. Procore Company Admin permissions are required, so completing this in advance can help avoid interruptions.

How to install the OpenSpace apps in the Procore Marketplace

• Sign in to Procore.
• Select Apps in the upper right corner, then Marketplace.

• Search for OpenSpace.
  • Note: Both the OpenSpace App and the OpenSpace Two-Way Sync App need to be installed to set up your integration.

• Select OpenSpace.

• Select Install App.

• Select Install.

• Select Close.

• Return to the Procore App Marketplace, search OpenSpace, and select OpenSpace Two-Way Sync.
  • Note: Before setting up the OpenSpace Two-Way Sync App, you must first install the OpenSpace App and establish your project connection between Procore and OpenSpace. If you have not done so already, follow the instructions above.

• Select Install App.

• Select Install.

• Select Close.

• Select the Projects dropdown, and select the desired project(s) you wish to configure for the OpenSpace Two-Way Sync App.

• Select Add.

How to set up the Procore sync in OpenSpace

• Navigate to the Integrations tab on the project settings page of the job you want to integrate, then select Connect on the Procore card.

• Log in to your Procore account in OpenSpace and select Next.

• Install the OpenSpace App and Two-Way Sync App from the Procore App Marketplace (see prerequisites above), then select Next.
  • Tip: If you’ve already completed these steps, you can proceed by selecting Next.

• Select your company and project from Procore, then select Connect.
