Overview
Admin settings let Organization and Site Admins turn certain features on or off without the need to contact OpenSpace Support. Admins can apply a setting to every site in the organization or to individual sites, and Organization Admins can lock a setting so it stays as decided. This article covers where the settings are, who can change them, and how locking works.

Prerequisites
- Only available on desktop
- OpenSpace Air only sites do not have a Features tab.

Please note:
- People blur applies to new captures only. To have existing captures blurred, contact OpenSpace Support.
- Turning off Public site links or Public folder links immediately revokes every existing public link of that type.
Change a setting for your organization
- Under Admin, Click Features. The page is titled Feature Controls.
- Find the setting you want to change. Each row shows how many sites have the feature turned on, for example 3 of 12.
- Click Manage.
- In the dialog, set the value for all sites, or set it site by site.
- To return every site to the organization default, use the reset option in the same dialog.
Change a setting for one site
- Open a project and click Settings.
- Go to the Features tab.
- Use the switch next to a setting to turn it on or off for this site only.
- Settings that can only be changed at the organization level, such as public links, do not appear on this tab.
Lock a setting
Locking freezes a setting as it is right now. Every site keeps its current value, and nothing is reset to match the organization value. While a setting is locked, Site Admins see a lock icon and a disabled switch on their Features tab, and the tooltip reads "This setting is managed by your organization admin." Org Admins also cannot change individual sites or reset them from the dialog. Unlocking does not change any values—it lets Site Admins edit the setting again.
- On the Feature Controls page, click Manage next to the setting.
- Turn on the Lock setting switch and confirm.
Tips:
- To have every site use the same value and keep it that way, set the value for all sites first, then lock the setting. Locking alone does not change any site's value.
- To change individual sites after locking, unlock the setting, update the sites, and lock it again.
How settings are applied
The most specific value wins. A site's own value overrides the organization value, which overrides the OpenSpace default. If a Site Admin sets their site to the same value as the organization, the site follows the organization value again.
FAQ
Why can't I change a setting on my site?
The setting is most likely locked by your Organization Admin. Contact them to have it unlocked.
Does locking a setting reset my sites to the organization value?
No. Every site keeps the value it had when the setting was locked.
Can OpenSpace Support change a locked setting?
No. A locked setting has to be unlocked before it can be changed, so please ask your Organization Admin.
Will People blur apply to captures I already have?
No. People blur applies to new captures only. Contact OpenSpace Support to have existing captures blurred.
