OpenSpace supports Field Note Integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). The ACC platform includes Autodesk Build that combines the best of PlanGrid and BIM360 with new functionality to create a comprehensive field Solution. Autodesk Build provides a toolset for managing, sharing and accessing project documents to streamline workflows between the Field and Project teams. The quality and safety of the project is tracked using Issues and RFIs - for flow of information in the project.
Note - ACC RFI Integration is currently in Beta. Please contact Support or your CSM for enabling the feature.
Generating an RFI
Login to OpenSpace through Autodesk SSO option. The Autodesk Login functionality allows logging to Autodesk Build and BIM360.
Navigate to Project Settings -> Integrations to link the ACC Project; Select "Autodesk Construction Cloud"
From the drop down, select the Project to export the Field Note Information.
Once the Project is linked, you have the option to View Project in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Navigate to your project: and click on the Field Notes icon in the left menu:
Select your Field Note from the list
Note: If you don't have any Field Notes, you can create one one in the 360 viewer by clicking the Field Note icon in the left menu.
You must save the Field Note, then click the Field Note icon in the left menu to generate an RFI.
Click on the Autodesk icon at the top
Create a new RFI or link to existing RFI
A prompt will then appear giving you the option of creating a new RFI in Autodesk Build. Alternatively, you can link to an existing RFI to attach a photo and a PDF of the exact floor plan location to provide rich context to the RFI.
When creating a new RFI, complete the fields - this is the information that will appear in Autodesk Build.
Once you complete the form, you will see the field note is linked to a Autodesk Build RFI:
