System requirements. For optimal performance using the OpenSpace platform, we recommend:
- Bandwidth: Broadband/LAN
- Specifications for desktops: 4GB RAM
- Specifications for network: Broadband/LAN
- Firewall - required: Ability to send/receive data via SSL (HTTPS)
Supported operating systems (OS). We support the following operating systems for OpenSpace on desktop and mobile:
- Windows 11 or later
- macOS 14 (Sonoma or later)
- iOS 15.1 and later
- Android 13 and later
Web browser support. Our recommended browser is the current and immediately prior stable versions of Google Chrome on Windows and macOS. OpenSpace is also compatible with current stable versions of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari (macOS). Supported browsers and versions are subject to change.
- Google Chrome on Windows, macOS or OSX, versions in past year
- Apple Safari on macOS or OS X, versions released in the past year
Mobile browser support. To access OpenSpace on your smartphone or other mobile device, download the latest OpenSpace mobile app for iOS or Android. While the OpenSpace web application may work on a mobile browser, this is not supported.
