Navigating the Building View & Site Plan

Overview

The Building View and Site Plan View in OpenSpace Track are the main ways to move through your project spatially, from the whole site down to an individual room.

Building View

The Building View shows a side-section (schematic) view of your building. Each floor is displayed with colored boxes representing different areas or rooms, with colors indicating progress status. You can see exact completion percentages for each area, filter by trade, task, or component, and click on any floor to open the floor plan view with room-level detail.

Please note: OpenSpace Track maps activities to specific rooms and areas. If an activity is not expected in a particular room (based on documentation), it will not be tracked there and that area will appear hatched/greyed out for that task. If a floor shows no progress data, it likely means no 360 video captures were captured for that floor that week—it does not necessarily mean no work was done.

Navigating your site

Our platform provides multiple ways to navigate your site, including a spatial menu (See all spaces) available in both the Executive View and Building View—especially useful on complex projects with multiple buildings or phases.

1. Log in through your unique project link (available in your weekly emails or via bookmark). This takes you to the Building Selector page.
2. Select the phase of the building you want to view.
3. The Building Overview page displays progress and Spotlights for your overall site, reflecting any selected filters.
4. Select a floor to see progress in that area on the Floor View page.
5. Select an apartment or area to see progress via the Apartment/Area View page.
6. Select a room or location to access the 360° images of the space.
7. To return to any prior location, use the navigation controls at the top of the screen—including the breadcrumb toolbar and the back button.

Site Plan View

The Site Plan View lets you navigate complex projects through site plan drawings, with a direct connection to the Building View—especially useful for large or multi-building sites. Key features include:

• Site plan maps: Navigate your project through familiar site plan drawings, with a seamless connection to the Building View for any building or zone.
• Camera coverage info: Progress data is accompanied by information on how many scenes out of the total have been captured that week, giving you better context on the reliability of the data.
• Tracking scope: You can see and download your task breakdown directly from the Executive View, giving context on what the actual progress percentage consists of.
