Overview
OpenSpace automatically pins Field Notes you make during a 360° video capture to your sheets. You can also create a Field Note anytime in the field. Learn more about using Field Notes in this Support article. Additionally, if you’re using one of our supported integrations, you can simplify your workflows for Observations, RFIs, and Issues even more. In this article we’ll lay out the steps for downloading and generating PDF reports of your Field Notes for distributing to any stakeholders such as architects and subcontractors.
Downloading and Reporting
You can export a PDF of a single Field Note or a report of multiple Field Notes based on your filters. Reports include attachments and comments, which you can remove from the reports if desired.
Single Field Note Download
Note that by default all single Field Note downloads include attachments and comments.
Access your project, and click the Field Notes icon.
Click into the desired Field Note.
Select the 3 horizontal dots.
Click Download PDF.
Save the PDF file.
Field Notes PDF Reports
Click on the Field Notes icon on the bottom left-hand side of your project.
Apply any filters such as Tags, Status, and Zones, to define what Field Notes you want in your report.
Click Export and select “Field notes PDF report.”
By default, “Include comments and attachments'' is selected. You can de-select if you prefer to not include these details.
Give your report a name in the “PDF Filename*” box.
Click Submit.
A confirmation box will appear in the center of your screen.
Your report will be emailed to you for downloading—timing will vary depending on how much data is being exported.
