Viewing Your OpenSpace 360° Captures on Desktop

Updated this week

Access and view captures from the Active Projects page

  • Log in to OpenSpace. The Active Projects page for your organization lists all projects you have access to.

    • Scroll through the list or use the search bar to choose a project.

  • To get to your 360° captures, click on the tile to open the project, then select Images in the left-hand menu. Or, simply click the Images icon on the tile.

  • To navigate through a capture, you can click on the path line, or press the Play icon. Note that you can adjust the playback speed.

Access and view captures from the mini map

On the upper right-hand side of your capture, click on the mini map to see the entire path of your capture. Clicking anywhere on that path in the mini map will transport you to that exact location in the site in your capture. If you took two captures on the same day, the capture paths will show as different colors. Watch this video for all the ways you can take advantage of the mini map.

Access and view captures from the calendar

In your capture, the capture date is shown at the bottom of the screen. Use the left or right arrows to choose a capture date. Click on the date to open the calendar, where you’ll see days with captures. The captures dates are color coded:

  • Dark blue dates mean that there was a capture on that sheet, in the location you're currently viewing.

  • Light blue dates mean that there was a capture on that sheet but not in the exact location you’re currently viewing.

  • Light gray dates mean there is a capture on that date but not on the current sheet.

Click on the timestamp to view a list of all images taken at the current location you're viewing—while the camera is always firing, OpenSpace selects the best image as a default.

View captures side by side with Split View

You can also compare and contrast captures taken on two different dates side by side. Click the Split View button in the lower right corner. Then on one side, choose a date to compare to the current date, as shown below.
